Transitioning

 

Hi Everyone,

 

The Sunshine Coast in Transition Initiating Group invites you to come by the Arts Building Fridays 3:00pm – 5:00pm December 6th and 13th to chat, observe the wall display of the Transition Town “Visioning a Positive Future” project and contribute ideas or images to the evolving “Vision 2030 Map and Timeline”.

 

Throughout our awareness raising events in the past year, our group has talked with people who make the Sunshine Coast their home.  In the process, they have collected stories of their dreams, hopes, ideas and solutions.  Here are the possibilities for what our place could look like if we successfully transitioned to a local resilient community. 

 

The display will be on until end of January 2014. The gallery is located at 464 South Fletcher, lower Gibsons next to the Gibsons & District Public library.

AND….. it’s the Arts Building Festive Sale this Saturday and Sunday December 7th & 8th, 10:00am to 6pm. Over 30 artists will have handmade and vintage delights for sale all weekend.  The tasty café will be open with treats.  The 8’x 8’ gallery with the “Visioning a Positive Future” will be open for viewing and contribution to the Vision 2030 Map and Timeline during this time
