On Tuesday, April 15 the SC Transition Team will continue our popular Re-economy theme. What motivates us on the Coast and what is going to be the best style of community currency given our needs? Join us for a fun and entertaining evening at Wheatberries Bakery in Gibsons from 6 to 8 pm. with Jordan Bober, cofounder of Seedstock Community Currency and co-organizer of Vancouver’s Living the New Economy Summit (2013).
Jordan is a student of permaculture who completed a masters thesis in community currency in 2007 and has been working with currency leaders in the region ever since. Jordan’s mission is to catalyze community potential and resilience by matching unmet needs with unused resources. Come join the conversation! Sunshine Coast in Transition Initiating Team in collaboration with Village Vancouver Transition Initiative and the generous owners and staff of Wheatberries Bakery. The doors open at 6 pm. Wheatberries Bakery is located at 818 Gibsons Way.
