They will be actively raising public awareness to the need for individual and neighbourhood actions with a classroom full of props. Bill McKibben's  "Three most significant numbers", Enbridge pipeline visuals, the significance of 350ppm, biggy-sized carbon molecules and a 7 foot diameter spinning inflatable Earth will all be part of the awareness raising.

In Vancouver, thousands are expected to attend the #NoEnbridge Pipeline Rally at Sunset Beach on English Bay (1202 Beach Ave.) beginning at 2 pm. There will be music, food and speakers. The rally will include speeches from a number of representatives from First Nations and civil society organizations including ForestEthics, the Wilderness Committee, and LeadNow, as well as representatives from labour and business.

“We are slipping into a democracy gap, where the views of our communities are being ignored in the name of Big Oil profits. The only way to stop the slide is to come out in force, once again, and let our voices be heard as one,” said Eoin Madden, Climate Campaigner with the Wilderness Committee.
