3. Easter Egg Farm- 2546 Miles Road
Easter egg Farm gets its name from the beautiful pastel blue, green, brown and "dark chocolate" eggs its chickens lay. Here you will find happy heritage breed chickens, two ducks, a beehive, a llama named Salazar, and lush gardens of garlic, potatoes, kale, beans, beets, corn, Jerusalem artichokes, and salad greens grown primarily from seeds Annette saves herself. Looking forward, Annette plans to plant her 45 fruit and nut tree seedlings, raise native crayfish in the duck pond, and install a solar water heating system on
the greenhouse roof. Turn down Joe Rd from the highway, and turn right on Miles road (gravel). We have a tall cedar gate and a sign. Phone 604 886 1712 if you have any questions.

5. Country Haven - 4196 Rocky Road
"Organics and Beyond"
We are a small family farm that grows food for the local community with an emphasis on sustainable practices. At country Haven, we use Non-GMO Seeds saved over our 8 years or other local and organic seed. We also use as little water as possible using rainwater, drip irrigation and mulching practices. We specialize in niche vegetables - from greens to grains with our biggest crops tending to be tomatillos, quinoa and wheat. We also grow plants for sale as well as seed. Driving instructions: Follow Tyson Rd. in Wilson Creek to the very end and turn right at the red box. To visit another time, call us at 604-885-4542.

6. Beach Garden Cottage - 4586 Sunshine Coast Hwy
Beach garden Cottage participated in the first tour as a first year garden. They had just moved 2 driveways over to a half acre hilltop environment. Three years and a lot of infrastructure later, they are finally realizing over 31 terraced and multi raised food beds. Maggie has been saving tomato seeds ever since she learned from a One Straw event several years ago. Last year her 50 robust plants produced 200 pounds of tomatoes! Hopefully this yearʼs 70 plants will produce even more. Maggie and David have been focusing on the winter garden, with the brussel sprouts, Kale and winter flowering broccoli being a hit! Park at Brookman Park of the Lutheran Church unless you have mobility issues (limited parking at house).

Sechelt - Halfmoon Bay 1pm - 4pm

7. Ocean Vegetables Community Farm - Ocean Rd. (Between Cowrie St. & Dolphin St.)
This garden is the vision of Don Robb. Members of the community from Arrowhead, St. Hildaʼs Church, the
Sunshine Coast Association for Community Living, and One Straw all lent a hand in preparing the site and forming the Ocean Vegetables Community Farm Board. On May 20, about 50 community members came to lend a hand to bless and plant the garden with starts donated from Green Room Organics. The garden is flourishing with fruit, vegetables, and herbs. Everyone is welcome to stop by and sample some vegetables when they are hungry. It truly is a hub of community interaction.

8. West Sechelt Farm Produce - 5734 Mason Rd.
Situated on a former strawberry farm, we specialize in organic fruits and vegetables for the local Farmers' Markets, beginning the spring with rhubarb and greenhouse grown greens and ending the season with kiwis. The 100 foot greenhouse provides early produce and by mid season has tomatoes, pepper, basil, etc. Traditional field crops: raspberries and gooseberries, garlic and potatoes, beans and squash. Bee hives. A family operation since 1996. Site of the new farm to school garden. Biosecurity measures in
effect.

9. Gidora's Garden - 8066 Redrooffs Rd.
Gidora's Garden is a family affair (3 generations). We grow garlic, seasonal vegetables, fruit and flowers on just over an acre of land, mostly using the no-dig method to promote soil health. We sell from our farm gate from May to October (have been for 18 years) and also at the Sechelt Farmers Market and the Farm Gate Market in Roberts Creek. We have chickens, ducks, and 4 small greenhouses, one being for seed starting. We save our own seeds whenever possible. We use no pesticides or herbicides of any kind and use our own blend of organic fertilizer. We have made sauerkraut and brine pickles for many years and have recently had a renewed interest in fermented foods. We have added kim chee, apple cider vinegar and kombucha to
our offerings.

Please do not bring pets to any of the gardens. Thank you!
