A4D member Dr. James Pawley, is putting on a forum in January, followed by an ElderU course.
A Forum at Chatelech Jan. 12, 10 am - 12 noon at Chatelech School auditorium. The Paris UN Climate Summit has produced a Climate Treaty with the goal of keeping global warming below 2°C (1.5 if possible). The Chatelech Forum will look at how we reached this point, discuss the options for action, and how they are likely to affect us on the Sunshine Coast.
ElderU Course, Tuesdays, 10:00- noon, starting January 19. This course will discuss the options for action and how they are likely to affect us on the Sunshine Coast. The major topics will cover energy use for personal and air transportation, home heating, “consumerism” and what will constitute “being a good citizen” in a world where cheap energy is no longer a given.
