With warmth and joy, we at One Straw would like to wish you and yours a happy holiday season!  We are so thankful for all of your continued support and are so happy to have your interest in food security on the sunshine coast!

So far it has been a great year with our annual Seedy Saturday, the first ever Seedy Saturday Night, a revitalized Edible Garden Tour with Field to Feast Dinner at the Sechelt Long House a fun Fall Faire and a host of new partnerships and rejuvenated board of directors!  Live and Learn has offered tons of workshops, the Ocean Vegetables Gardens have been expanding and the Fruit Tree Project is reforming :) Very exciting!

The darker and colder times of the year are great for reflection and we as a society are in a state of visioning and are very curious about what our members and supporters hope to see for the future of One Straw.  Your voice matters to us, in fact we can't do this without you!!

If you have ideas, we would love to hear them, please follow this link and place your comments in the document provided.  Send Form

We will keep you posted as to where we go from here, and in the meantime, have a great December and enjoy some of the awesome events posted below!

in gratitude,
